My artist name is Giaco, I made it up from my mother italian maiden name.
I am a self made artist and I have been doing artworks for more than 40 years. I have always been fascinated by all types of paintings but particularly by the extraordinary period in Paris at the beginning of the 20th century: Picasso, Rivera, Utrillo and, all over, Modigliani who deeply influenced my usual style.
My current project is describing the life of the Italian artist in paintings. So far I have made about 50 works which I hope to exhibit in 2020: Modigliani 100th death anniversary.
